Job Description:
Emmanuel College is seeking qualified applicants for a newly established position, Director of Lacrosse/Head Men's Lacrosse Coach. This is an eleven month, full-time position that will serve as the primary contact for the sport while serving as the head coach of the men's lacrosse team. This is a unique opportunity to build a comprehensive lacrosse program through all phases of development. Men's Lacrosse at Emmanuel College will begin varsity competition in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference in 2011-12. Women's Lacrosse will begin varsity competition in 2010-11. The successful candidate will also be responsible for serving as the equipment manager for all 17 varsity sports programs, and other administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree and strong coaching background in men's lacrosse. Demonstrated success recruiting student athletes and working knowledge of NCAA rules are also required. Experience with strength and conditioning and collegiate playing experience will enhance candidacy. Candidates should provide evidence of the ability to build a winning program consistent with the values of NCAA Division III and the mission of Emmanuel College when applying.
