Job Description:
Emmanuel College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Economist eager to teach undergraduate students and able to combine a student-centered focus with both scholarship and service. The Economist would join the Management/Economics Department and carry a 3/3 teaching load. Will teach introductory courses (micro and macro) and electives. An interest in the application of economics to contemporary domestic and global problems and issues of social justice (e.g. health care, the environment) is preferred.
Requirements:
Ph.D. required along with undergraduate teaching experience in economics, evidence of teaching effectiveness, a commitment to scholarship, and an interest in participating in academic and student-centered activities of the department and the college.
