Job Description:
The Education Department of Emmanuel College, which has developed strong partnerships with schools in Boston and surrounding areas, invites applications for a faculty position in education. The successful candidate will be a teacher and a scholar committed to the development at both the undergraduate and graduate level of urban elementary and secondary teachers. The successful candidate must be willing to assume the chairmanship of the department after one year and provide leadership in developing and enhancing the education programs at the College.
Requirements:
A Ph.D. or Ed.D. degree in a related field is required. The area of specialization is open but expertise in elementary and secondary curriculum is desired. Administrative experience and a record of success in publishing and obtaining grants will enhance the candidacy.
